Michal Svironi combines art and theatre to create a unique stage language she calls ‘Paint-theatre’. In a colourful collage of separation, using broad strokes of colour and paint, she evokes characters who have left their impression on her. They come to life in a macabre parade, filling up the stage. Each figure is a creation in itself, passing through different dimensions to tell its story. In a fragile, multi-generational, humorous and poetic collage, we are left asking: what remains of our past, and what will we leave behind? Is it even possible to be a ‘blank slate’?
