SUMMARY:CARTE BLANCHE Michal Svironi | Israel
DESCRIPTION:Michal Svironi combines art and theatre to create a unique stage language she calls ‘Paint-theatre’. In a colourful collage of separation\, using broad strokes of colour and paint\, she evokes characters who have left their impression on her. They come to life in a macabre parade\, filling up the stage. Each figure is a creation in itself\, passing through different dimensions to tell its story. In a fragile\, multi-generational\, humorous and poetic collage\, we are left asking: what remains of our past\, and what will we leave behind? Is it even possible to be a ‘blank slate’? \nMore about the performance
